GARUT
SMA Negeri 11 Garut is one of Senior High School in
Garut, with a very strategic location in the center of Garut city which is
located in Siliwangi street number 2. SMA Negeri 11 Garut known as one of the
Pioneering International High School (RSBI) in Indonesia, although SMA Negeri
11 Garut can be said as a young high school in Garut, because SMA Negeri 11
Garut was formally built as Senior High School in 1991. But, our school can
prove as a great school with great achievements that have reached.

Officially SMA Negeri 11 Garut was founded in 1991 with the name of the SMA Negeri 3 Garut which is the transfer function of the School of Teacher Education (School 1 Garut SPG) to the Education Minister of the Republic of Indonesia Decree Number: 0426/0/1991 dated July 15, 1991. In 1997 with the enactment of policies and naming nomenclature based on the location of the school district. Then changed its name to be SMA Negeri 1 Garut until now. Next start in 2009 again changed its name to Senior High School 11 Main Page. Compared to other District high schools in Garut, SMA Negeri 11 Garut, since its establishment until now seen from a young age as of the new 17-year existence.
Although from the still comparatively young age, during the journey has become a high school that became the primary choice for the community, parents and students graduate from junior high school.
